I'd get braided fishing line and a hair drier. Heat up the pointed end and work the line into the 3M tape, sawing back and forth. Might want to tape over your surrounding body area. Then heat up a section and saw through it until it comes off. Clean up with goo gone.
Oh, and these can't just blow off in the wind, if properly installed. I can grab mine and lean back and they won't budge. Going 120+ hasn't torn them off either.

 

are the wheelskin easy mount and removal?? and need to drill holes?
