I don't know how old you are, but if you're under 25, male, and using it as a daily driver, then insurance could be steep.

Honestly, it's 2007 and in only two years the 2010 Mustang GT will be out. I'd drive the V6 for a couple more years, save the money that you would have spent on the GT (payments, gas, insurance, mods, etc.). Then in 2009, I'd trade in the V6 and put the additional money down on a new 2010 GT.

When are they supposed to do the new front end on our stangs??? 2009??2011?? Sorry not trying to go OT. I would say go for the GT if you can afford it now. I am doing this myself towards the end of august more than likely. I am already in talks with the dealer, who told me to wait a month or so and then the deals will be even sweeter on the 07's. Of course if you wait, then you will kind of have to "take what you can get" option wise. I am in the same boat as you..but I owe like 10k on my 05 V6.

Tough choice ... I was hoping my V6 got totaled ... then the choice would have been made for me and I would have gotten a GT with all the current incentives. However, with the Camaro, Challenger and Mustang redesign (including special editions) just around the corner ... think twice before locking into a current generation GT.
