Roush hood scoop w/ stripes?
I was just wondering if anyone has any pictures of there car with a roush hood scoop and stripes. I have an 05' and was looking to get a roush hood scoop, but i like the 10" stripes w/ pinstripe along the side of em. And all i see is roush hood scoop with 8" stripes. I would like to see how 10" stripes look with the roush hood scoop. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks =)

Well I'm getting ready to put on my 10 inch stripe on this weekend. I have a Torch Red Pony Package with a Roush Nose and hoodscoop. I will post some pic's up when I'm done with the car.

Hmmm...i think i have exactly what u are looking for....
What you have to be careful of is that in order to have the Roush look with your stripes, they need to be cut correctly using the same sizes as the roush stripe kit.....if you have the stripes too wide, they will cover too much if not the entire side of the scoop and thats not the way it should look...
when i had my stripes put on, i wanted the pinstripe as well, so in order for me to keeps the roush sizes,i had to be really careful with my measurements.......here are pics of mine with red pinstripes....
my pins are 1/8" and the spaces is 1/8", each stripe is 6", and there is a 1" gap in the middle; these sizes will get u what u want and maintain the roush dimensions....

RE: Roush hood scoop w/ stripes?
hmmm.....imho, usually when you see wide stripes like that, its on a ram-air, eleanor, or some other hood that doesnt have a scoop....when you have a scoop, the stripes shouldnt cover the entire thing unless you are going for the boss mustang look where the stripes cover from the furthest left and right points of the hood scoopand no more....but it really just depends on what look you are trying topull...with the mach 1's, it has one stripe that covers the entire shaker ram air system and then some......if ur trying to pull the classic/legend look, justtake a look at pics of the old style boss's or shakerhood scoops and then u'll know what im talkin about..........if you just wanna do your own thing and not go from the mustangs' past, then you can do whatever you want.....its totally up to you.........i have seen 10" striped on a roush scoop and its not pretty to me, but its just boils down to what you want to do.......
