Guys I really need help with my spyder install...
Im sorry to start a new thread but I think its screwed completely... i couldnt get the new flange on, so I used the pinion nut and tighted it to push the flange on... but now its just stopping, too much resistance, but its not all the way on.
What is wrong here? I feel like I missed a step but no one else has reported this....
now i have no car to drive...

Just remove the nut and try to reinstall it. When you pull it off inspect all the threads on the nut and pinion shaftand make sure you aren't crossthreading.Make sure you push the flange on evenly. Torque it to 130-150 lb-ft. Make sure you use a torque wrench. Ittakea lotbut keep on crankin till the torque wrench clicks. Not sure what else to tell ya.
BTW: Monitor your pinion flange after install for leaks. I didn't have any problems installing my pinion flangebut I have a minor recurringleak that I'll hopefully getfixed Monday or Tuesday. If your having issues you may what to check it after install just to make sure.
