I used a Xenon ducktail and it kept the factory third brake light. It looks really good but it was very hard to get to fit the car perfectly. We used a urethane compound to install it vs. 2-sided tape. Urethane works very well and can be removed later if you want to.(kind of labor intensive to remove-but it won't fall off under daily use.)
