Default Question on stock 18" polished bullitts

Hopefully this turns out to be a dumb question:

So I've got the stock 18" polished aluminum bullitts. It would be really, really nice to buy a set of matching polished wheels in 10" wide and put 'em on in place of the read 8.5s.

Problem is, I can't find a set of matching rims. Looks a lot like - yes. Match - no. Am I missing something?

Thanks!

I have read on here of taking rims and having them widened,? Sounds costly to me. I don't think you will find matching ford polished bullits in 10 inch wide sizes.

Good Luck!!

You're correct. Weldcraft will widen the stock wheels by 1 1/2" for $250-$300 per wheel which strikes me as pretty expensive for what it is and how much a new wheel costs in comparison. Add to that, I'm out the stock wheels for a week or so while they are being modified and it looks like an even less attactive option.

Can't believe FoMoCo doesn'thave their contractor for the 18" wheels just make them up in 10" and sell them along with the rest of the aftermarket bullitts they offer. Don't they know who I am?

I have checked everywhere for 18 X10" polished bullits, no luck so far. I would like two of them just for the rear. Widening looks like the only option. I'll probably just replace all four with chrome bullits before I fork out the cash for widening two wheels. Then I will sell the four 8.5" polished ones on e-bay.

^ your car looks just like mine...minus that badass blower thingy, lol!

I have been looking for the same thing. I can only find the 18x10s in everything but polished...black, anthracite, chrome...etc. You think some company by now would have come up with a matching knock off rim for our stockers....

Sell your current ones and pick up some new ones. Ebay my friend. American Muscle has rims that sorta look like that, or the bullet ones come in 18x10s (had em on ol` stang)

They SORTA look like them, but they dont LOOK like them. Honestly they look like night and day when compared to the stock ones, which I greatly prefer.
