Nitrous!?
^^^ yeah NOS includes it in their kit...but the remote bottle opener is like 300 bucks I think...then there's some solenoid for the opener that's another 3 or 4 hundred, not sure if that's used instead of or in addition to the remote opener?
The thing is you can really just start with the kit and a window switch (you really want the windiw switch), check because most of the kits do not have the window switch it's extra($200 to $250). So for $800.00 to $1000.00 you can add a pretty safe nitrous setup. You can add the other stuff as you go along to enhance your setup or increase your shot, but as I said you can start pretty cheap compared to most power adders.
get wet only. when running the nitrous, if you use a 75 shot you wont have to retard your timing, meaning that you wont have to screw with the tune and you wont lose any power when not using the nitrous. if you go 100 or higher it will require you to retard your timing, so when your bottle is off your car will be a bit slower, however when you hit the ntirous it will flyyyyyyyyy! also, i may be wrong, but i believe a smaller shot will last a bit longer.
I have the zex kit and so far have used the 75 and 125 shot. picked up almost a full second on just the 75 and smoked the tires with the 125 shot, but track conditions were poor the day I used 125. I just have the base kit but will install bottle opener, warmer and momentary micro switch after I get it back together. putting different heads and cams on it now so will be a couple weeks before I can try the 125 again
