I want to go FI so bad it hurts, butI'm trying to see how fast I can make it on motor alone and use nitrous just on the special occasions so hopefully someone will come out with a bullet proof 5r55 or whatever they call this thing. after these mods I'm doing now all I need is a trans that can handle the Procharger or Turbo with a transbrake, that would be awesome and I would be done for a while other than k member, and suspension mods. hooks great now if im at good prepped track but FI may change that picture all together
Look at this month's Modified Mustangs magazine. They have an article on a 1500HP-capable auto trans for the S197

I'm staying n/a. Im just a dumb daily driver. I'm not a racer or anything, its just for fun.... So spending $6K at once is too much for its worth to me!

I have CAI, tune, aluminum driveshaft, delete plates, steeda UDPs, loudmouths, a bunch of suspension, and other weight saving mods.

I really want cams though.... but theres a lot more money that goes into that than just cams and install, so Im holding off for now.

One of my next mods is a strokah kit...I'm staying N/A just because I can and its my car/money.
My notch has a new turbo and one F/I car in the stable is enough for me....My gut still isn't right after driveing that little torqy sob for a week....

Staying N/A for now, this will end up being a daily driver. My Firebird with 315,000+ miles won't keep running for ever (even though we all wish our cars would!).

I'll be staying N/A. I'll be perfectly happy with a very low 12 second N/A auto.
All I have left to do is aluminum driveshaft, PI torque converter, and maybe some LTs with a catted H-pipe (ARH). If I get bored, I may do some adjustable shocks/struts and roush rear springs. I may do 1 or 2 other small things depending if I'm close enough to breaking into the 11s. I do not see a stroker kit, nitrous, or any type of FI in my future but I'm ok with that.

I'll probably stay N/A for another 16 months because the Ford Racing Whipple package comes with a 12 month warranty as long as your car is still under factory warranty, and my car is now 8 months old.
That way I'll still keep my full 3 year factory warranty on everything up till the final day.

I'd rather shore up the brakes, suspension, drivetran and then worry about more hp's...
Anyone with stock rotors, brake lines, andcalipers and a turbo/supercharger is a little short sided IMO

I'll be staying N/A, we get to much rain and ice here for a daily driver and I cant afford another car after my wifes. Maybe some other time but for now bolt on's will do and it'll allow me to do some other things I'd like to do.
