anyone staying N/A?
is anyone besides me going to get every bolt on possible and go all engine? maybe eventually get heads and cams (i dont want to start a cam debate)
all thats left for me is cmdps, throttle body, heads, cams, and everything that goes into the installs. (valve springs, etc...) oh and5 grand!

im trying to stay n/a for the time being, but I also have nitrous, mainly because I bracket race and sometimes the special races will be not neccessarily what you run, but a index like 11.0 12.0 and 14.0 which I ran one weekend and since I run 12.70s I had to slow down to 14.0 since I didnt have the nos so I launched let off and waited a sec. and stood back on it and ran a 13.978. broke out by a measly 22 thousandths of a sec. that sucked building a car to run and having to slow it down that much just to race. now all I have to do is hit the 75 shot and Im running 11.90s. a lot easier to win . I'm in the process of putting ford racing heads, compcams springs and retainers and crower cams in, just had a setback with the retainers, got 1 oddball so I cant put it back together yet. hopefully next week I can make it back to the track with all the new goodies. I'm shooting for 12.0 or better on motor then I will probably put a procharger on it. Im thinking with the heads and cams in cooler weather I should be at my goal, but I am also going to stroke it out shortly and should definately be there then
I want to go FI so bad it hurts, butI'm trying to see how fast I can make it on motor alone and use nitrous just on the special occasions so hopefully someone will come out with a bullet proof 5r55 or whatever they call this thing. after these mods I'm doing now all I need is a trans that can handle the Procharger or Turbo with a transbrake, that would be awesome and I would be done for a while other than k member, and suspension mods. hooks great now if im at good prepped track but FI may change that picture all together

FI gives you the best of both worlds: Mild streetability and gas mileage, then very reliable power when you need it. Last time my car was at the dyno, one of the gearheads at the race shop had a Cobra Mustang with a $1500 fuel system and a radical 4-valve NA motor that he put gobs of money into. It pulled 310 RWHP. He was really pissed...expecially after I followed him onto the rollers and pounded out 433 on a hot engine with a stock engine, stock exhaust+ blower.
There is no real sense to lay out $5000 in parts that MAY work well together vs. something you know will get 'er done. We had this same thread running 3-4 months ago. The OP wanted to slap parts on incrementally as the money came available. Hell, get a credit card--be American and charge it!
