Where do you all put your knees?

Where do you all put your knees?
I drive with the seat all the way back, and down. Big fella! With it in that configuration, my right knee hits on that corner of the part that holds the radio. I cut a pad out of an old camping mat to cusion it a little. Without it, I get a big ole dent in my knee. Even with the pad, when I got back from San Diego, my knee looked like a freak.

Mine hits close to the center of that area seat about 3/4 back all the way down and reclined for relaxed driving. also I'm only 5'11"..

I'm 6'2". That is why I have the seat all the way down. My inseam is 32" so about average for the legs. I wish I could straighten my right leg out. Seems I always want to rest it on something.

MossMustang sells a real nifty pad just for that area.
The seal can be removed and new holes drilled farther
forward on the brackets to gain yet just a little more leg
room.

It is a tight fit but be glad it's not a wedge body. My 02 had the seat all the way back, reclined all the way and I still hit. You dou have the seat adjusted all the way down vertically right?

I am 6'5 and feel that I fit better in the Mustang then in most vehicles. This may be in part that I never fit right in any vehicle other then monster SUV's. I do find that I have a lot more room not only by the pedals but in the knees if I dont have shoes on. With 16 shoes space gets tight on a manual. I cant complaint about the room in the car though....you cant expect tons of room for a sports car such as the Mustang. All in all I am happy with the amount of room that is there...woudl I drive this on a 16 hour trip probably not....daily driver for sure.

Yes I do. I don't recline it too much. Maybe a notch or 2.

I feel ya in those 16's. I wear size 15 4E. I was in a '72 Pantera once and my feet, when side by side covered all 3 pedals.
