Default Does an offroad x-pipe need a tune?

I currently have Kooks LT headers with a catted x-pipe. I got a custom tune when they were installed. If I switch to an offroad pipe, will I need a new tune? One of my cats recently started rattling, so I had the bright idea to buy an offroad pipe instead of a new cat.

Also, what do those of you with pffroad pipes do when it is inspection time? Can the program be modified to take care of this issue?

Thanks for the info

well you would only need a tune if you wanted to turn off the rear o2 sensors so you dont get check engine lights. or you can get mil eliminators

Bump

Really interested to know about how people are getting offroad x-pipes inspected.

depends on where you live and what the requirements are. In some states they have no emisions testing. Some states have diferent requirments based on the age of the vehicle. I ran off road for a while then I went and had cats installed. Law enforcement around here is a little tough on the issue and felt better safe then sorry.
