Default Which cold air intake ??

I know there are several threads on CAI, but I was wondering if anyone would be willing to share some insight on his/her system. I have been pondering the idea of adding a CAI/tune to my car and I honestly don't know where to start. Looking for something that will give me a noticeable boost, relative ease in regards to installation, decent look. Also it would help if you might also share where you purchased yours from.

Thank ya in advance for the help! [sm=thanx.gif] s ~

Get the Airrade setup. you can feel the hp increase, its super easy to install andits cheap about 250. Also later down the road you can get an SCT or diablo and have a custom tune for your intake.

Brenspeed......steeda and c&l look the best IMO and are 2 of the best but most are fairly close. My airaid came with the car, I removed(allows you to run w/o a tune)the restrictor when I got my tuner.

Just remove the filter and MAF, remove the restrictor and reinstall filter and MAF whn you get the tune.

I'm gonna go with the JMSchip CAI/SCT XC2 tuner, it comes with 3 custom tunes(based on your info and mod input) and is priced at $459 shipped. Uses the factory inlet elbow which some people claim steals hp, but the Saleen S/C utilizes the stock elbow inlet and makes over 400rwhp, so go figure.
With the SCT tuner costing $379-399, it's pretty much getting the CAI for $60-70. I could use the $100 in savings to get LCAs(at least use it towards then). Just my 2cents

its just a smaller plastic tube inside the intake tune. I said above how to take it out, talk to your tuner before removing it.

I went with the C&L and SCT2 from Brenspeed. Very happy with mine. Incredible power gain and looks excellent under the hood (probably the best looking IMO, as its made of aluminum not plastic).

I went with the JLT II with the SCT XCAL B@ma tunes, currently running the 93 octane racetune and couldn't be happier with my choice.
