spedometer calibration?
would spedometer calibration fall under warranty? when im driving, my spedometer would say im driving like 60 but if i look at my GPS and those road side speed limit signs that also tell you how fast you are going, they both say 55

RE: spedometer calibration?
I have the same issue. They've got those roadside radar things all over and they say I'm going 2 mph slower than my speedo says. All suspension, wheels, tires (32 psi) are stock on my car... I do have about 23,000 miles on the tires. Could that wear have caused that much change? Or are our speedometers all off a little.

Those machines register the same MPH on me no matter if I drive the Jeep or the GT. Which is 2-3 mph difference. I figure they are set that way orare not dialed in their own self.

Mine does the same thing too. It's alwaysaround 3-4 mph fast. I've tried measuring it many different ways (speed signs on the road, driving alongside another car, resetting the average speed with the cruise control on, and even using the datalogging feature on my XCAL). I used to think I was crazy but now I know my speedo's messed up. On the plus side, I'd rather it read fast than slow
