Default Woodward dream cruise trade stalls

I'm travelling to the Woodward dream cruise next weekend. Goona get there for the Friday morning in order to scope out the route and take in any local events before parking up and settling down to watch the cruise itself on Saturday.
Anyway, I guess a hundred trade stands will be there but anybody know where'll they'll be? Will they be all concentrated in one spot or scattered aong the course? Would be cool to bring some Mustang goodies home to Ontariowith me......

Still not sure whether to take the Mustang with me, I'm not interested in being part of a 13 mile traffic jam myself but frightened to leave it parked unattended in such an ocean of spectators

take it with you! the dream cruise is my favorite event all year. i was so excited to go to mustang alley this year but then i JUST moved from MI to GA and i dont have the time, or money to drive it back. BUT take you car, even tho its a 13 mile traffic jam you can get off at any side street that crosses woodward. trust me, it will be worth it, especially with the way ur car looks!

Is it too late to grab a Mustang corral slot?
Do the trade stands congregate at a particular place/town ?

Marcus, things are spread out along Woodward - and until you experience WDC it's hard to imagine. Yes, it is a slow drive up and back, but you can pull off several times. Never had any problems with my car on a side street.
Check out Mustang Alley at 9 Mile Road and you may be able to get in there after 11 or so.

i just moved out of Detroit. I got to see 4 WDC's and they are quite awesome.

you should definetly take your car. most of the people are there to see cars, some go to drink, but pretty much everybody respects the cars. so I wouldn't worry about your baby.

as for where stuff is, there's usually a lot of food stands/etc in royal oak (near 12 and 13 mile). last year ford had there setup in birmingham (just west of woodward on old woodward) there were a lot of classic ford's there. things do change from time to time, so check out the website. its worth the trip. you'll have a blast. i can't make it back this year, or I'd be going. hopefully next year I can fit it in.

I tried to get into mustang alley and they put me on a waiting list. They started taking parking requests in apr-may and I am new to the whole show thing and they are full. I think 400+ stangs registered. Later
