What would you guys say is a better programmer? Diablo Preditor or SCT Excalibrator II? The shop I went to wants to use the Diablo, but I hear the SCT is better. Any thoughts.....

 

I think its more of who writes the program, not the brand of the box....

 

yeah it really comes down to which tuner your guys use. The diablosports allows more user-end fine tuning, but most people shouldn't mess with that, just plug it in and hit the button. Otherwise your car will make ka-boom sounds...

Ive got an SCT and not really impressed with it. For one, it didnt come with a manual of any sort and two, I think the software, that is downloadable off of SCT website, is second rate. I feel like im looking at graphics created by an Atari 2600.

But as S197 put it; its great just to plug in and hit the button.

 

I like the XCal. However, I think you can't go wrong with the Diablosport one either. My father used one for C6 Z06 and I used the SCT for my 06 GT. No complaints from either.

 

If the dyno shop uses diablo then you should get that one

i use diablo and its fine. they're the same thing with a different name. if the shop has diablo use diablo because if you have problems they can fix it
