Marcus, don't forget to check out Mustang Alley on 9 Mile at Woodward, it is about a mile of Mustangs (and usually later in the day you can get a spot that has been vacated or where someone who reserved space never showed up.
I'll be watching for the silver Mustang with camera!

I was talking to the service tech about our windows, and he tells me some cars have baffles under the seat that allows for expansion. Lets air out but not in. Don't know if it applies to our cars though.

If you pull the glass loose from the urathane, you
are going way too fast. You could not apply enough
pressure to pull the glass loose if you had tools to
do it with, little lone a camera mount. Those glass
panels are there to stay unless you cut it loose.

I was replacing shocks and the vents are in the rear quarter panels
behind the interior trim pieces you have to remove to get to the
upper shock mount nuts..
Also the drop glass helps with letting the air out when the doors
are shut. The shop manual shows the vents and how to block them
off for a pressurised soapy water leak test.

It's not the air flow I'm worried about, it's the dead weight of the mounts trying to pry the window out. I did a test with the side window mount and remained unhappy with the whole concept of using the window asa single mounting point so decided to use two sucker mounts, one on the side and one on the rear window, joined by an adjustable elbow. The weight of the camera is actually on the rear window with the side window acting as a kind of anti-wobble support.
If anybody sees it, give me a wave !

I made another test with the new doublemount when I nipped down the bank to get some US dollars to blow at Woodward.
I grabbed the video to the PC and made a sequence for you to see, it's a funny as Hell !!!

I defy you to watch this and NOT smile

One thing, despite the apparent evidence to the contrary,I never once went over 60km/h, honest !!!!

30mb file
