Default Oil Fill Tube

HI, anyone know how to remove the plastic fill tube between the oil cap and valve cover?

Removing the spout is a bit tricky. There is a tab that must be pushed down and then the spout is removed by turning counterclockwise. Don’t be afraid to use some force, you will actually need quite a bit of force to remove it. There will be a loud click and then the spout just pops off.

I broke the fill tube when I removed mine.
I didn't know there was a locking tab inside and the only instructions I had said to turn it hard...

Afterwards I saw that I should have gone in from the inside of the valve cover with a small screwdriver and lifted that plastic tab while I turned it.

If you DO break the fill tube you don't really need to replace it. The oil fill cap will lock right into the valve cover itself.
I like it better without the fill tube.

+1 I broke mine too. I still can use it, but the look of the cap directly on the valve cover is better.

Hi, Thanks. Those are Graphics Express vinyl stripes.
Sometimes I think it might look too 'race car' though... Like just slap a number on the side and get it over with... [8D]
