Default 2005.5 Mustang

Okay, so I was reading a Mustang book last night - actually a "field guide". Anyway, it listed the convertibles for the 2005 model year as 2005.5 MY cars, since they didn't come out until spring 2005...

Anyway, is this correct? I've also heard that the 1964.5 Mustangs weren't even 1/2 year cars...they're technically 1965 MY cars....

Yea, nice try. There were 64.5 cars even thought they came out in 65. Ford called em 65's but with genertors and other changes, they were certainly NOT 65's.
