I actually keep one set of keys in a safe... Although, if i forget the code, I'm in big trouble. You never did fess up as to what happened to the other set?

You still need two programmed keys to program.
Loose one set and thats all you got left is one set.
No way to program any more unless the dealer
does it for many $$s. You really need two sets
in your safe to be safe from dealer charges.
The key # is on the ign. cyl. behind the steering
wheel plastic trim also.

+1 fess up

you will need two keys in order to program them.

Pats keys retail for around $15 each, and we charge a half hour to program the keys(our labor rate is $65/hr) so for two keys & program, it is around $65 total.

Do not get charged more than half an hour for labor. It takes only 15 minutes to program the keys.

You can get away with only programming 1 key if they do spare key program. But if done in this way any key lost will still start the car.
