Torchreds with Black stripes?

Does anyone know what I could use to get little scratches and marks out of my black
vinyl stripes. When I picked it up at the dealership they had run it through the car wash
and put all kinds of swirls in the stripes. The dealer guy rubbed most of them out with some sort
of polish. That was about 6 months ago. Every once in a while I notice new marks.
Anyone else have that problem, is this normal for vinyl stripes?
