Use an orbital buffer, cuts down on time and effort quite a bit. You can use it to apply and remove the wax.

I hate waxing. Some people find it relaxing, I find it's a lot of hard work in the heat. If you wax out of direct sunlight, that may help quite a bit, and not leave streaking, etc.

Given that I hate waxing so much, I use a product by Eagle One called Wax-As-U-Dry. It's pretty cool; you just spray it on after rinsing (when your car is still wet), and dry your car as normal. It really takes no longer than drying regularly. I've been using this stuff for several years, and I really like it. It keeps my car really shiny and smooth (I had a black car before my stang), and it's a polymer wax, so it tends to last longer than a carnuba-based wax.

Btw, i dont work for Eagle One or anything, I just happen to like that wax-as-u-dry stuff.

Great products there. The spray wax is good.. but the buttery wax is my favorite. Bought a gallon of that and the detail spray. Much cheaper than buying small quantities. I dilute the detail spray with distilled water.

This stuff is bad *** too:

My car is a damn mirror.. I don't think I could get it shinier.
