i usually go to the drive throu car wash. which for 9 bucks it does the tires, wash and wax but does not look as great as the other stangs still. i want that dealership shine style car. what products should i use, i mean everything from soap to tire cleaner. also how should i wash it. i have vinyl stripes so pressure washing wont be a good idea. lol. freakin love bug season. any helpful tips would be awesome. thanks

Don't take it through the car wash... it will ruin your paint. The "wax" it uses is worthless.

Good hand washing.. rinse.. spray on detail spray while still wet.. dry with microfiber towel.

You car is better off dirty than going through a car wash.. especially if it has brushes.. or anything that touches the car other than water.

 

Get a porter cable and some polishes and waxes from justin over at obsessivedetail.com. You wouldn't believe how great a car looks after a day polishing and waxing with that thing.

 

Yeah, like these guys said above, never take your car to a car wash. You don't know what car has been through before you with mud and dirt that gets in those brushes leaving nice surface scratch marks on your car.
