Hello!
I was wondering how dependable the Saleen SC is for a 2006 mustang? I want to have one installed, and I commute about 45 minutes each way, every day, and the mustang is my daily driver. Will it explode on me? Just need to know if anyone that has a new Saleen SC, drives it alot, and if they have been relatively problem free so far. Thanks so much in advance.

you'll be happy. mine is some weeks a daily driver as i have other vehicles. however Ive had the saleen s/c for 30k miles now. 452rwhp. and not one check engine light. the only real prob i had was the i/c pump died and i didn't know until i went to relocate it. my gas mileage is awesome, it went up after s/c was added. you will be happy.

For the most part it will be ok, though several people on here have had their cars explode in half with the supercharger spinning away and smashing through buildings. I think they abused their cars though.

thats funny. its wrong but still funny. just be careful. i wouldny buy it if you live near the ocean. you might end up driving into it

I don't have a Saleen but I do runa Kenne Bell as a daily driver. No problems at all, gets as good a mileage as it used to, as long as I keep my foot out of it.

Its a great car if you dont mind the gas mileage. Im getting about 8 mpg atm, My car is suppose to get 15 hwy. With my foot im kidding myself to get anywhere near 15 mpg The horse power is just too tempting. Get my drift lol My striaght answer is dont get it for comute get a toyota or something and use the saleen as your pleasure car. Its realy not practical
