There are V6's out there that can really embarass some of the modded GT's here. I think with a fraction of what you want to spend on a GT500 swap, you can make a monster V6. JMO and good luck.

I can't speak for the OP, but this kit for me was a non-option. I had no desire to spend 14-15k for 300rwhp, 20" wheels, or Shelby badging. It's a nice looking car, but I prefer my money to go into performance.
