A week into a blower I can tell you that new springs are on my short list. Or rather, a complete overhaul on the handling. This car was built to be a compromise between the stock HP and give what would be still *perceived* as decent road manners so Joe Public would still buy them.

Throwing in a Whipple has tossed that all out the door. The back end is in the pavement onmoderate acceleration.

Regardless, there is no reason you can't put in a S/C NOW and tweak after. As far as I am concerned, there is no "must do in conjunction with" components...

I've got a couple of exterior mods I wanna get knocked outta the way first but then I'll be going after suspension,

It'll be awhile before I get a S/C but before I do I plan the following
Exhaust (headers, crossover, and mufflers)
diff
(Rims andtires) 295 rear
suspension (LCA and maybe UCA) I don't want to lower it
ignition (MSD Coil on Plugs)
maybe a few other things
as I said it'll be awhile before I do any of this

PS - I lied. MGW short throw shifter (or any good shifter). A "must have" if you want to get that power to the pavement!

What tire would go on my 17' bullit wheels that would give me better traction then the stock tires.

and.......... not a must have, but wouldn't keeping my gear ratio at 3:55 until my suspension is beefed up be better off then going to 3:73 or 3:90 right away? I wouldn't have as much torque so should be a little easier on the suspension......??
