Default Is this how my LCA should look?

I went under the car tonight checking for a different problem when I looked at my aftermarket lower control arms.

I noticed that the rear outer most bolt on each side had a stamped metal arm attached to it. Only, the one of the passenger side look a little funny. The metal "arm" on the drivers side nut extends and touches the rear of axle facing away from the front, the metal "arm" on the passenger side touches the other side and looks a little crooked. Is this OK? I guess the metal tabs keep the bolts from loosening or something?

Sorry for the stupid question, any help would be greatly appreciated. I've attached two pictures that illustrate my point.
