I have been lookinbg at the Boston Acoustics http://www.crutchfield.com/S-SXVn9DG...&I=065SL80
Crutchfield says they fit the rear deck but not the doors, butI don't see why they wouldn't they are 5x7; unless they are too deep.
Anyone have an opinion on these?

These are on clearance and sound fantastic, I have the 6810cs. These will fit fine, Crutchfield includes adapters.

Pic your own head unit here: http://www.hookedontronics.com/show_...es.jsp?cid=225
Make your decison on what you want, navigation? DVD? or just a sweet single DIN head.
You can also get your amp and sub there.
They have great prices and service.

Hope this helps, and Good Luck! Keep us posted on your decisions.

It might sound good to you now. But chucking in lots of bass to an otherwise standard system that isn't that great to begin with...Could not think of anything worse personally when it comes to Audio. Go listen to a properly setup system components up front etc then tell me yours sounds good.

Just the way you have hooked it up its likely to have bad sound quality. Dont give a **** how "loud" or "cool" it sounds. I guarantee I would find it crap to listen to. System is only as good as the weakest part.

Those boston accoustic's look quite good it is basically a component system in a housing.

I can't say I'm an audio expert at all. Sometimes I like it loud, and others not loud enough. I originally didn't even want the Shaker 1000, but it came with the car. Surprisingly I like it, and after listening to it the other day I realized how much I like it. Sound is crisp and clean, and even at half volume it's loud enough. I'm not the type of person that needs my car vibrating and sounding like it's going to explode next to others at a stop light. (I'm sure we've all heard the dreadful Import with its Audio system bigger than its Engine...)

To each their own.

MB Quart components and Eclipse headunits FTW if you want an excellent sounding system

what size are the door speakers? (have yet to touch mine) anyways check these out.
http://www.cardomain.com/item/MBQPVF216
you will be amazed at how good their speakers sound. better than infinity, polk, or bostons.

and check out this thing
http://www.eclipse-web.com/avn/avn2210poverviews.html <~~~~ thats badass

^ quality stuff, stinger makes just about the best wire you can buy.

you could go 18 ways on sub(s) and an amp, but whoever said you only need one good sub was correct. stay away from flashy crap like audiobahn. really if you want clarity your back to mb quart, or the higher end infinity, polk, boston, memphis type of stuff
