you would be suprised. the factory speakers are nice for highs. and the only reason i went with 2 10s is because i show my car, im in a show club and my trunk was the only part of the car that wasnt touched. anyway. if your not looking to spend a **** load of money for good sound then go with what i said. if you dont belive me tell me where you live. im going to canada tomorrow (driving) and if your on the way i have no problem stoping and showing it to you and letting you listen

The most important things to do for sound quality:
1) Upgrade the source unit. Without a good signal, nothing will sound adequate.
2) Upgrade the speakers. Component speakers are almost always better.
3)Add amplification. Make sure it matches correctly with your speaker impedences, and the relative voltage of your source unit.
4) Add subwoofers. The key to good bass is not so much which sub you choose, but how good the box is and how well it is balanced with its amp.
