How about the Steeda CAI? Does this outperform the C&L?

They will run about the same maybe a hp or 2 different nothing major. Research the tune it will make a bigger difference then the different CAI.

I have read other places where the size of the MAF does not really make a difference on a stock car as it can only ingest so much air. However, if you are planning on doing other engine work, then the larger MAF would be needed.

Installed the C&L Racer with BrenSpeed 93 octane tune yesterday and she now lays a nice stretch of rubber when hitting 2nd rather than a little chirp. Sweet power in 30 minutes!

Thanks all for your input. Next up is a shorty shifter.

If your worried about heat & the aluminum elbo on the street version Steeda has heat wrap material (sticky 1 sided) u can wrap around the elbo. Comes in sheets like 10"x10" something like that. Just cut to fit & wrap
