Is the C&L RACER INTAKE too much flow for a '07 GT with no other engine mods?

 

yes, if you don't get a custom tune as well.

 

I have the C&L racer on my stock GT w/ B A M A tunes and it runs like a champ. I'm running the 93 octane torque tune and all I can say it's a blast to drive.

That package will work great on your GT. As said above the C&L flow i fine as long as you have a tune. If you don't have a tune it will run too lean unless you get one of the new ones that has a plug for cars with no tune but this defetes the point of even getting the C&L in the first place.

 

How easy is the install?

 

It is probably the easiest thing you can do to your car. Performancewise that is.... Should only take a half an hour, even for someone who knows nothing about cars.

 

What kind of HP gain did you get out of this CAI with the custom tune?

 

The install is stupid easy. Expect to gain around 25-30hp. It is very noticable.

 

I havw the C & L racer with a Brenspeed 93 tune,,

Car runs great, no issues but you must buy the heand held to upload a tune..

Pricey..Yes...Like all things...But we all do it..You wont regret it..

Infact i drove my car to work, which i never do..Car felt really strong today..
