Well I just changed my filter today 25,000.I bought a Wix for the replacement and glad I did !!
I live in Georgia so I don't know if your fuel is thisdirtybut I highly recommend not waiting on the
scheduled change !

Where and how much was the Wix filter?

Damn! I just changed mine at 13k and the fuel that came out was crystal clear.

 

Where do you get your gas from ? I started out using BP and Marathon,but for the last 8 months
Shell.

 

The pumps I normally use say Bp/Amoco on them. I occasionally use Exxon and Chevron.

I also buy 93 octane, guess I should have mentioned that.

 

Same here 93. Maybe I just got the bottom of the tank at a gas station?This really surprised me when I
poured it out.

 

It was probably the Shell. That's bad.

 

I don't know? From all these gas/fuel threads shell has been held high by others.I'll stay running shell
for another 10,000 and do a early change on the filter and see if I get the same results.

 

I really want to know how to chance the Gas filter .. .I have never changed the gas filter.. it's been 47,000. Please tell more .. were is it located and how can I chance it?
