If you refuse to get a cai-tune combo? You should relinquish the keys to your Mustang immediately!
(to me, of course.....)

That would be a Hell Yes to the CAI/Tune.

Nitrous? You can put me in the C.S. column on that one.

I guess I should answer "Yes I want the extra power" since I have one,but I'm starting to feel Chicken $hit cause I'm having all kinds of pinging issues, and the shifting is all screwed up, and it's making me think stock aint so bad. My tuner is tryng his best, but the only tunes that don't ping are the ones that he reduced timing to almost stock, so the power increase is minimal. The 87 tune even pings with 93 octane gas. Leaning toward Chicken $hit.
I use to have that problem but I run the 93 octane gas with the 91 tune in the summer and 93 with the 93 tuneoctane in the winter. Also remember some gas is just bad and you will get some pinging with very hard acclearation. I have friends who have had pinging in cars without CAIs' and tunes. It even saids in our manual that occasional pinging isn't bad. On page 209 in my owner's manual :

"Do not be concerned if your engine sometimes knocks lightly. However, if it knock heavily under most driving conditions when you areusing fuel with recommended octane rating see your dealer or a qualified service techinician to prevent any engine damage."

I would recommend a tune even without a CAI. The stock setup can stand a few more degrees of spark right out the box

Most definitely....the CAI/Tune. The only problem I had was that I couldn't stop and wanted more!
