Rim Width

Rim Width
I have a 2005 V6 and I wonder if anyone knows what the stock rim width is? I plan on putting some Cragar S/S wheels on it and they only show a 16X 7 or 8" rim on their web site. I'd like to keep the P215/65R16s until they need replacing and then go to slightly wider/lower profile tires.

RE: Rim Width
Suggestion; Get a couple wider and slightly but not much taller tires for the rear. It will improve the looks a lot and stop curb damage during right turns and most parking. Then, when the front tires are worn, use the original rear tires. You will need to compensate for the speedo being off a bit from taller rears but that is no big deal and it actually adds to the period you will be under warranty. Also, since you will now always be going downhill, you will get better mileage.......... ;O)

I've also been checking out the American Racing Torque Thruster wheels. I can get a set of 4 for $710.00 with free shipping. They are an original 60s-70s wheel and are very cool looking on a retro-vintage car.
