Before I bail out for the night, I just wanted to tell you that you have to get that shifter handle really freaking tight. It will come loose on you but don't use Loctite if you can help it.
If it comes loose though, use a stop nut. There's enough thread sticking out of the handle support on the other side. Good luck and enjoy it, the Hurst is fun.

Well this morning I'm over my pissing and moaning and I freakin LOVE this shifter. All the busted knuckles and frustration was well worth it. Driving to work this morning was sweet. I had a really hard time in traffic wanting to powershift up and down so bad. You're right though, Pascal, the handle did loosen up on me. I was wondering what the up/down play was and noticed that the "lock" washers that Hurst provided weren't quite doing their job and the handle had loosened. I loctited everything down below and I'm going to also get the handle some better bushings/lockwashers for it.

All in all, this is a great mod to the car. Should have installed this as soon I got it home from dealership. No comparison with the stock shifter.
