Default trunk lighting?

Just curious if anyone had any ideas to hook up a light in the trunk, for all those times you want to see back there in the dark but cant.

I'm taking a wild guess.. do you own a convertible?
The light could be hooked up to the inside of the deck lid using power from the license plate light.

You do realize that there's a tiny toggle switch that turns the light off when the trunk is closed... just like your refrigerator! Honestly, I never really noticed if there was/was not a light in the trunk... If my car weren't 1.5 hrs away, I'd go look!

My trunk has a light , it's on a timer also. I've left the trunk open for lond periods and the light shuts itself off after awhile.
