You need a specific tune for the JLT

Call a tuner and tell them your mods and they can send you a tune

You can get away with it with the K&N, but not a JLT. I had the first K&N intake for the Shelby (they used my car for the R&D) and when they told me that it did not require a tune (I got it tuned anyway), I said thank you and went home and tok it off and sold it, as my son and wife bought me the JLT for my birthday! I got an additional 30 RWHP and35 RWTQ with the JLT. I was at CA Speedway about two weeks later Dec 06' running the 1/4 and K&N and a group of what I think were customers walked up when they saw it was me (only shelby out there at the time) and you should have seen the look onthe K&N guysfaces when they looked under the hood and wanted to show off their unit and they saw the JLT, it was priceless.
