Going to the track Friday need advice
I wouldn't try too hard at first. You need to get used to the environment, and don't let the "tree" spook you or rush you.
Ya'know, it's like sex - everyone imagines themsleves being so great when they've never done it before, but the first time will be awkward and your times and mph will probably suck. Just keep going back for more - it'll all become natural after a while. Don't be disappointed with your first several passes -use them to learn and just to get comfortable with the track environment.
oh, and good luck, have fun, and don't forget to tell us how it went.
P.S. Don't screw with tire pressure, sway bars, etc until you're comfortable with the track and how your car handles on it (it's not the same as the street) . I'm not bashing anyone that suggested it, because those things do work. You can start doing that stuff later.
