I had a 70 Roadrunner that this stupid tech put about ten dents down each fender while the dealer was correcting the front end alignment. When I went to pick up the car they lied and acted like it was my fault, but I noticed the tech prying on a bar with his knee in the fender. He didn't notice them because they had a fender cover. I ended up having to go to court to get the dealer to pay for the $over 400.00 damage way back in 1972. When you have an honest dealer, you have to give them a chance to make it right, that is half the battle, even though you will be inconvenienced by not having your ride though. It took me six months just getting this A$$hole dealership just to pay for the damage.

I would have them REPLACE it. Because by fixing it they mean putting bondo and all that ish that I'm pretty sure you don't wanna have on your car. I would insist on complete replacement of the bumper cover.

Talk to the Service Director and tell him you are completely unsatisfied. Seems to be the magic word... When I took my car back in they offered to a: make a payment (cars paid so no need) b: extend the warranty (got that too...) or c: some kind of service coverage (not sure what that means. could be the free oil changes mentioned earlier). The last thing that they want is for you to give them a low score when the survey people call you. Get photos if you can. The last thing that they want is for those shots to wind up a Ford. Good luck.

+1 on the new cover. A repair on that thing will never last.
