I have a Dealer Plate, I go to Auctions and buy cars all the time.......I can pretty much Drive anything you can think of. I used to drive a different car/truck every day, that all changed when the S197 entered my life.

Well I wouldn't be a true car ***** if my eye didn't wander every now and then, but nothing's tempted me enough to trade it in.

Now if I could afford a whole stable of cars, then that's another matter.. but even then, 3 or 4 would be Mustangs of some sort.

Wow, 4 months later and this thread pops up! LOL. I have a little better perspective of how you all keep the thrill alive. MODS, MODS, and more MODS! Its been a long time coming, 1 year and 5 months since I bought her! I have saved up enough to do the things I have wanted to do. This week WILL start the modding adventure! Plans are as follows. C&L CAI, Tune by Brenspeed, Slotted and Drilled Rotors and Hawk brake pads, Lowering springs( Name brand to be determined) Adj Panhard Rod and Bar, Lower control arms, and the kicker........... 4.10's. I have asked local speedshops about the 4.10's in my auto, they all agree if i am gonna go for gears, just get the 4.10's. As long as i dont do alot of highway miles, i should be good to go! I am not Bored Anymore!

I don't know about your family, but I have a six year old daughter, and a fourteen year old son. They love to be involved in the car shows, and Mustang club activities that I like to do. i don't know if you have a club near you or not.It's cheap fun, and you meet so many others with the same intrest. My daughter is into it more than my son. She just can't get enough of it, and she has learned so much.

Yes it is expensive to mod, but if you budget it right, you can get things, and still not deprive your family. A billet piece here, and there. Paint your calipers. I have a change jar that I throw all my change into at the end of the day. It got me my front spoiler.
