ORIGINAL: Fletch

Well, today I was cleaning out the interior. In the process of wiping out the cup holders, I noticed that the corner was peeling up a bit. I thought it was just a cleanable rubber mat that layed in the bottom of the holder. I pulled it out and here it was about 2.5" deep. This will make putting my coffee travel mug in the holder a lot easier...before, I had to hold my arm up in the air a bit when shifting because it's too tall for the holder.

Anyone else out there who has yet to discover this?

You're not alone, I just discovered this the other day myself and I've had my car since May.

I had my car for almost a year before I found this. It took me a long time to find out the rear seats fold down too.

What other easter eggs have you all found? Perhaps a thread dedicated to this would be a cool read?

Ifound mine while cleaning the car one day, it wasstuck under the passenger seat [&:] I didn't have a clue what it was and threw it in the "Mustang locker", the place I store my removed stock parts. Quite by chance I saw somebody remove theirs from their cup holder at a show weeks later
It's one of those crazy objects which you'd never guess it's purpose taken out of context. In my case, rolling around on the floor !

And no, I never read handbooks
