problem finding door lock wires for alarm install

RE: problem finding door lock wires for alarm install
Zeindog I hope your right. After trying to test a -White/pink wire(supposed to be another trunk pin or disarm) didn't work. I just hooked up the +purple wire to the trunk pin +white/yellow wire. I haven't finished hooking everything up, but I get closer each day. I'd say this install is taking me about 24hrs total labor spread out probably for a week. But I'm learning and its fun.

I did the same on my car when I installed mine plus I have 8 years of installing dei products professionally so I know just about all you could want to know about installing these things. Did you also hook up the power trunk release option whichshould be the red/white wire from the python to the white/purple wire at the SJB.

Ya I hooked up that red/white wire to the white/purple. Where did you connect the tach wire? I put mine on the grey plug(ignition harness I think) some blue wire. I had like 16 injectors. they all had a red in common so I connected to the other wire. Is that right?

Yeah thats right, I just saw your other post and told you the same thing also. I didnt do remote start on mine so I didnt have to do all the extra but usually injectors work. Some times the injector and coil packwires dont workon fords real well for remote start and require a tack signal generator but unfortunatly you wont know until the install is complete if it works or not.

RE: problem finding door lock wires for alarm install
I only needed 2 relays and 2 diodes. One to change polarity of trunk pin. Other for dome supervision, and 2 diodes for each individual door trigger wires going to alarm +violet. Everything works except my dome light supervision only works 25% of the time. Someone told me to use the alarms -black/white wire straight to a black/blue wire in the dome light holder. I tested it and it was constant 12v. Any ideas thanks.

RE: problem finding door lock wires for alarm install
I did the add on alarm(VSS) for my 07 Vert and had to change the A12 wire from the yellow/red to a pulsed wire so the interior lock switches would not deactivate the alarm. Also had to move jumper 2 in the module to the down position. I used the light blue wire from the sjb to the power locks, pin 14 light blue from the door unlock relay. Another guy on the forum was having the same problem as me only his was installed at the dealer and I did my install. See post: 7L3Z19A361AA VSS Install

RE: problem finding door lock wires for alarm install
Damn I forgot I even made this post back in the day lol. I have had my alarm installed for over a year now. I'm actually a car audio installer now, and do alarms all the time. By add on alarm are you talking about the factory alarm with the motion sensor in the dome light? If so you would have been better off getting an aftermarket alarm as they are far better.
