Max HP with Stock Internals
I was told by the tuner at Dallas Mustang that if you go over 450, your flirting with disaster. The stock bottom end is made of pressed metal
and can't handle the stress of a super tune.He then handed me a piston form an
05 GT that the owner actually demanded that he max it out. Archie, the tuner, had the dude sign a release and then turned it up to
550 RWHP. The engine blew. Seeing is believing. I had him tune my ride to 437 RWHP @ 9 lbs. I'm happy with it.

this is a topic of great debate.... the tune does have a lot to do with it.... and as mentioned the 450 RWHP number has become the generally accepted limit of safe......
