Car Problems Fixed...BUT...!!!
There is no way your car should need rear rotors at 54K miles. NO WAY!! That's first!! Especially if there is 50% left on the pads, which there should be. You shouldn’t even need rotors on the front at 54K!! You need someone else telling about your cars needs. Just today I told a woman I know, that has a Vette, she needed new rear tires. The tread bars were starting to show. She told me she just had the front done a few months ago (because another man showed her the Cords were showing on those). They looked good but the rear were almost gone. Find someone else to advise you about your car!!

On another note, I just got off the phone with the dealer about my Shaker 500 replacement. I talked to a different guy than I usually speak with. I told him that I was under the impression that under TSB, Ford is to replace the Shaker 500 with the latest manufactured one. But the one they replaced in my car looks just like my old one. Not like the ones in the 2008 models (faux chrome trim). He said they don't actually replace them with the new ones. He said that when they remove one from a car, they send them for repair and the package them back up. When Service orders a replacement, that's what they get...a refurbished Shaker 500 that was previously in someone else's Mustang! Can you believe that? So I said I don't want to bring the car back to have another replacement. I'm just buyinga new deck from Crutchfield
Girl, the stealer's trying to take you for a ride. No doubt.
They want to charge you for stuff you didn't ask. That's dishonesty, even if you need freaking brakes!
Don't be intimidated. You didn't sign a work order (I suppose) on the brakes and door handles so tell them to take that invoice and shove it.
You don't need to be a biatch but be ferm and show them you're the smart one.

Why do you think you need new rotors? Does the car jerk when you come to a stop? Can you feel a pulse in the pedal if you apply small amount of pressure to the brake pedal at high speed?
Normally, on Car Audio, Dealerships take out the unit, send it off to be repaired and then the same unit is sent back. That’s whatmy dealershipdid with my 05 F250; I was without for a week.

No thanks. Well, I found out yesterday by calling and talking to a different guy that they send the Shaker 500 from your car back to be fixed and resold. But they don't send the same one back, they send a different one that's been refurbished. I cancelled the re-order and said nevermind. I bought a nice JVC deck that fits for now last night...just until I can get the Alpine one I want
