2008 GT/CS Drk Candy Apple Red

RE: 2008 GT/CS Drk Candy Apple Red
Ok, two things.....
1. She did take those dealer stickers off the trunk lid today
2. I drove it and looked under it, and took off center console panels......and.......I'm convinced that the rattle is coming from something being too loose on the top side of the transmission. It is more exaggerrated when you drive over bumps or make turns because whatever piece that is rattling evidently leans from side to side and makes contact with something else when you hit a bump, thus causing the sporadic rattle. My theory is that part of the shifter linkage on top of the transmission is loose, but I couldn't see what it looks like. Does anyone happen to have a picture of the top of an auto transmission, or does anyone know what could be loose? From what I could see from underneath, the shifter moves forward and backward to pull or push a small cable or rod forward and backward, and this cable or rod connects to the top of the transmission in some way. I didn't have a mirror, so I couldn't see over the top of the transmission to investigate. Any help would be appreciated.

Nice ride! I love CS's too. I wonder why?
Mine didn't come with the hood scoop/GT appearance package.
My friend has a 2008 GT and the ambient lighting is right next to the cup holders.

Mine's an '08 GT in dark candy apple red. I'd definitely get the same color scoop. I'm sure that if you purchased it after-market, the dealer would be able to paint it for you (for a fee premium fee, no doubt.)
As for the ambient lighting, the button is right next to the cup holders. It's impossible to miss.

Man, that is one great color! That is a great looking car overall. I think your right, the hood scoop would really look good. Then the CAI, the tune, the off road pipe, the springs, the shocks, the one peice driveshaft, the shifter, sway bars, the supercharger, seqential lights, and blah blah blah!!!! LOL

Well, I don't think she'll be doing that. She put wheel locks on tonight (I did it for her), and she wants sequential tail lights, and maybe mufflers to make it sound better...but not loud. That's about the extent of her mod wants.
