Ok so I went to the track today with my the C&L CAI and 93 tune. A little disappointed but I believe I know the reason why. I was only able to get three runs in today because there were a lot of people there and also there was a wreck at the end of the 1/4 delayed it by 30-45 minutes. [&o] They are alright. Well here is my best time for the night.

Sorry I will scan it tomorrow if i have time.

R/T ... .312
60' ... 2.306
330 ... 6.464
1/8 ... 9.952
MPH ... 70.75
1000 ... 12.922
1/4 ... 15.393
MPH ... 91.88

Ok NOW WHY i think i got such a horrible time...look at my 60'....

I just spun all of first, and could never get traction...I never had that problem. But today was the first day I took out the spare tire and jack so there was no weight back there to keep the car down. I dont know but all i know is that those 60's are killing me...my car has 14.xxx in it I know it. My PSI for the back wheels where 25, front was 34.

Any thoughts and advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Wow, thats bad. Crappy track prep maybe? Try launching a little softer, ease the clutch out. practice makes perfect.

At the worst, you should be in the low 14's
I agree with a softer launh. Just feather the clutch. After she sticks, then bury it...

Don't forget he has a v6 ... I didn't think it was all that horrible but you do need to keep the spin down to help your 60' times.

Doh! I didnt even catch that. Iguess I would need to look at his sig pic and assume it was a V6.

I was launching at 2,000 RMPs and it was still spinning! When I was stock I got a 2.1 60' time....

yeah 2000RPMs is way too high for stock tires. My local track has crappy prepping and people that are running MT/ET streets have difficulty hooking sometimes. I would try launching just off idle 900-1000 rpm, when it hooks bury the throttle. You shouldn't spin all through 1st the 60' shows that.
