My 05 GT, 5spd. is my first stick in several years. From time to time, I get a barley noticable clunck when up shifting. Not under much load/rpm low.

I get it also. What RPM do you shift at b/c I found that it's not as bad when I shift at 2500. Dunno though

I think it is when I am lower. It looks like good weather coming this week, I haven't had the car out of the garage since last Thur. I will check it out, then get back to you.

Um, i have driven quite a few 05's GT/V6's. Havent noticed any noises, or maybe im use to them, because they are there on other models also. I'll check it real quick for ya. See if they have any problems.

I won't claim to be an expert but you may want to take it back to the dealer and have them put it on the lift and check the powertrain mounts . The most likely cause is the exhaust system banging against the powertrain or body. Shifting and abrupt throttle inputs cause the powertrain to move on its mounts. This may also explain why it is only prevalent at lower RPMs when shifting. That is my 2 cents. Let us know what you find out.

Nothing more than most of the other performance cars I have owned, I'm used to hearing the tranny noises...

I think this is close to my issue. I watched it a little today, now that the weather is nicer, I drove the tang today. It seems I here the driveline slack coming out when I shift casually, with little rpm. Thus, reversing the direction of the torque.

If this doesn't sound crazy, then it may have all been in my head. With 600 miles on the car, I haven't tried to luanch her yet. But on modest takeoffs no noise.
