Yep - the car starts then. So, it's not a critical loss. Just weird. Electronic throttle won't let me pop the clutch to get the engine to turn over.

I hear the starter going, but the engine just won't turn over.

 

hmmmm....and you don't get any trouble codes from the box after you flash the custom tune?

 

Nope - after the upload, it just stops flashing and looks normal. I think it's mocking me.

 

the only thing that I can think of is maybe they put the wrong 4 digit computer code into the xcalibrator...if you have the quicktune software and cable you can check the code to see if it matches that of you cars computer

 

Well, if that was the problem, it should flash invalid vehicle, I think. Also, as I understand it, the vehicle won't even download the stock setting if its not the right vehicle code.

Has anyone dyno(just dyno only) to find out what the real hp gain is? Also cant I get the same setup with the diablo?

 

Well, I talked to Steeda today. The tech was nice and knowledgable... Too bad that it looks like my SCT XCalibrator was not tuned correctly. I'll have to send it back.
