Yes indeed, tell them your mods now, they will tune accordingly and you can just plug and play, or pray!
You can also tell them what your next round of mods will be and they should be willing to pre-tune for them.
That still leaves a third slot empty, for me that slot will hold my 'local' tune w/dyno.
Then I'll dyno all three and see which one comes out on top for me and my vehicle.

You really cannot go wrong getting your own dyno/tune session with a reputable tuner in your area.

Whenever I deal with car chips and the like I have zero % luck finding ports/chips where instructions say they are. So I read your posting, looked under the left side of dash on driver side and, sure enough I see too many possibilities (If I include unplugging an existing connection anyway)...brain fart occurred...would you mind describing the Xclaibrator attachment on the vehicle in a little more detail for the port challeneged like me?

Thanks.

Drivers side, left of the steering wheel right where the interior paneling down there ends and nothingness begins
you will see the OBD II Port.
The Xcal will only fit one way on an open port.
It is in clear view, just look you can't miss it.

While checking on the computor this morning, I found a guy in Dallas that said he could install this on my GT for $359( parts and labor). Am I better off ordering it direct from SCT so that they can flash it?

Well it came from SCT already.
I would ask if he has other tunes he can put in place for your future mods.
CAI especially.
Does he have a dyno so you can actually see your before/after rwhp and tq?

humm.. thanks for the info td1320.. it always helps to have my mustang to see what your talking about.hahah anyway, I just like most people want to find the best and easiest path to beef up the stang. 1K is alot and could be help full towards an SC.. or..... twin turbos!! [sm=gears.gif]
This is a good point. Do you get the same level of flash programing with the SC or Turob kits? If not, it sounds like the $500 will always be in addition to the power adder costs. If so spending ti now, is just part of the best deal.

Better yet you get this SC and it COMES with the Diablo Sport Predator. You wont need the SCT.. all in one package!!

Gonna wait until I own the vehicle before I go SC here.

I'm pretty sure the dealership wouldn't honor the warranty if I added it now.
