ORIGINAL: l33t

Gonna wait until I own the vehicle before I go SC here.

I'm pretty sure the dealership wouldn't honor the warranty if I added it now.
If something happens with it just bring it to Casper and slap him with a 50 spot .. no sc found on car..hahah

Just got my xcal this morning and it only took like 5 mins to reflash with a performance tune. There is definately a noticeable difference. Cant wait to get the CAI installed tonight. Yeah I think i'll wait till I own mine too before I SC.

I ordered my CAI from Mustang Tuning and they will hold the X-Calibrator until my 05 arrives because they need some sort of serialized number from the door. But when they ship the X-Calibrator they will program it to work with the Steeda CAI, 4.10 gears and Borla exhaust.

Even if the chip is flashed with all those mods... you still need to go to a dyno right? [sm=bounceybounce.gif]

martin-I didn't need any number from my door with my xcal. all i had to tell them was model and year, 5 speed or auto, and what mods. Lostsoul i think after you reflash with the xcal your good to go. The only reason to dyno would be to see how many horses you gained from your mods.

Has anyone gotten a dyno and seen the speed difference after the SCT and CAI? I only have 250 miles.. should I wait till 1K to do a dyno? I know they are going to ride redline for a little.. dont want to blow a rod or something

I just got my SCT Xcalibrator in from Steeda today, and I hooked it up. But, after my V6 performace tune downloaded, my car wouldn't start! No techs are in today - anyone want to try to help?
