Default RE: Tutorial: Custom Antenna Delete

Well unfortunately I just damaged my black plastic antenna base by trying to use screwdrivers and a butterknife to pry it off. If the op would have said their were two indentions in the front center and rear center holding it on. I could have just pryed their and saved myself haveing to go buy a new one. Also with the actual orange antenna wire. It would have been nice to have pics of the removal of it. I wasted my time taking it off my fender(which I was removing) when all I had to do was use pliers to get the orange ant. wire out of the cylinder thing of the base. Heres pics.

hey luckydawg do you think you could send me those photos of disconnecting the wire. I am trying to replace my antenna base but don't want to take it off before i make sure I can just pull out the wire and attach it to the new base. Does anyone know how you would do this? I don't want to take off the fender. Thanks for any replies in advance.
